WHO BOOKS GSUS LIVE?

Organisations such as Youth For Christ, Christian Youth Outreach and Churches Together;
COUNTIES workers, local schools' projects or many individual churches.

 

TIMEFRAME

  • Plan your strategy - decide why you want GSUS Live and what you plan to do after its visit.
  • Contact Steve for an application form.
  • Steve will then visit for an inaugural meeting to explain the detail and answer any questions.
  • Return your application form
  • When Steve and the GSUS Live Steering Committee have approved the application, a date will be agreed for the visit.
  • The COUNTIES Support Team will send eight Headteachers' packs for you to introduce the idea to your local schools.
  • You then need to consider your volunteer team: riggers, presenters and other helpers.
  • 12 months prior to the visit, there will be an interview at the COUNTIES office at Westbury.
  • 2 months prior, Steve will visit to complete a site survey, and speak to the site manager at each school.
  • 1 month prior, you will need to supply the names of the presenters.
  • The training session will take place on the first Saturday of half-term, attendance is mandatory
    - approximate timings:
    • 9.30-12 for the riggers
    • 12.30-2.30 for the presenters
    • 2.30-3 for the technical team
